Towards sustainable rural development Euronatur and Germanwatch have accompanied the WTO agriculture negotiations since 2003 and are trying to analyse the background to and the progress of the negotiations from the viewpoint of development and conservation policy. These two different fields of work allow both organisations to develop comprehensive lobbying activities arising from their joint work on projects. The German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) has provided the financial means for this cooperative work from the start. The following publication presents the results of two projects, with one building on the other.
