They were up to their necks in the water, stayed awake all night and were fearless of thunder and lightning: 892 nature enthousiasts coming from 56 countries have joined photographic safari in order to participate in this year`s photo competition „Europe's Natural Treasures“ and the results are breathtaking photos of Europe`s nature.

As of today, 8 October 2018 the twelve winning photographs as well as 17 other fantastic photographs of the photo competition can be admired in the Bavarian Forest information centre in Mauth. This year „Europe's Natural Treasures“ is celebrating its 25th anniversary. „We are glad and also proud of the development the photo competition has undergone in the past 25 years.
