This little ant is the star of this year's photo competition "Europe’s Natural Treasures".
© Giuseppe Bonali“Reward” is the fitting title of the winner of this year’s photo competition “European Treasures of Nature”. Out of approximately 4,000 images, the jury awarded the first prize to the theme of the busy ant rewarding itself with a drop of water after work is done. This year saw a record-breaking participation in the photo competition: 1,130 amateur and professional photographers from 41 countries set out to hunt for good scenes and to picture Europe’s treasures of nature in an aesthetical or amusing way.
