The great crested grebe, the alpine newt and the white-throated dipper are among the stars of "European Treasures of Nature" this year. However, a host of other less water-loving species have also made it into the winners list of the photo competition, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This year we received over 3,500 entries from 892 photographers.

Warm thanks go to all those who took part! The 12 winning entries to this year’s photography competition will be featured in the 2019 EuroNatur calendar and will be published in the EuroNatur Magazine (3-2018), in ‘natur’ magazine and on the organisers’ websites.
